Brick cleaner.

The floor of the newly exposed south aisle is roped off because it has been treated with a proprietary brick cleaner to remove years of plaster dust. Please keep young children away from this area and avoid walking on it until the work is finished.

North and south aisles.

Both of the aisles of the church are 'out of bounds' with delicate organ parts exposed. Please keep children well away and avoid touching or putting coffee cups on them.

Winnie Mole

We have received a substantial cheque for church restoration from the estate of the late Winnie Mole. How nice to be remembered by someone who spent so much of her life committed to the church fellowship. We remember her life with thanksgiving and are pleased to still be in touch with her son, David.

The Tree seat

The tree seat in the churchyard is a gift in memory of Fred Clarkson (whose evocative oil painting of Terry Waite's homecoming on the airport tarmac hangs in the church). Our thanks to Edna his wife.

Village Magazine

The Contact team would welcome more input with a Christian message or theme. Maybe even a series of articles. The magazine is published by the Harlington Christian Council and as we now deliver to the entire village we can reach a much wider audience, and be a witness for St Mary's. "Vision for Action".

Alpha Course

Another Alpha |Course has been arranged to start on Wednesday 21Septmeber 05. The venue is the middle room of Parish Hall at 7.30pm on Wednesday evenings for 10 weeks, missing the 26 Oct half term evening. For further information ask the Vicar, or contact, Andy Doohan T 873382.

Agents for ecumenical cooperation and fellowship

By God's grace our Parish Church has enjoyed good relations with all the denominations represented locally for some decades now. We have the privilege of having been asked by both our Roman Catholic friends to host a regular twice monthly (2nd & 3rd Sundays 3pm) RC Latin Mass; and by our Methodist friends to be the venue for their regular Sunday evening worship at 6pm each week for the next six months or so.

Diocesan Newsletter

The diocesan newsletter See Round is on the back table in the church. (Donation appreciated)

Local Honey

Local honey from bees flying in the valley below our church are humming cheerfully at Dyers Hall, the cost is £1.97 a jar. Please put cash in the Restoration Safe.

Vicarage Eggs

Eggs from the free range hens at the vicarage are often available for a realistic donation, which benefits church funds including the current organ project. Please try to keep the amounts offered separate, and consider using Gift Aid envelope or handling direct to a Sidesperson.
